West Point Wrestling Club Golf Scramble 2012

                             2nd Annual Event to Take Place September 8th

Get your team together and make sure that you register today for the West Point Wrestling Club’s 2nd annual Golf Scramble Weekend.  The golf outing will take place on Saturday, September 8th with a 9:00 am shotgun start. Those who need to travel are encouraged to arrive a day early and attend the “Zulu Fly-In Social” at 7:00 pm on Friday the 7th at the Zulu Lounge on the top of the Thayer Hotel.  This event, perhaps the most important fundraiser for the West Point Wrestling Club, promises to be a blast!!!

Here is just a sample of what you can expect:
     – 18 holes of golf with a cart at the beautiful West Point Golf Course
     – unlimited range balls
     – a goody bag including a t-shirt, logo golf balls, tees, towel, coupons, and more
     – BBQ Dinner at the conclusion of the scramble
     – $10,000 hole-in-one contest
     – hole-in-one prizes at all par 3’s… tablet computers, golf clubs, $500 VISA gift cards
     – longest drive contest
     – closest to the pin contest
     – prizes for the top 3 teams….and more

  1. Section IX’s own legendary referee – Wayne Carroll – is the defending champion. His team of ringers won the inaugural WPWC Scramble last year and he will be back to defend his title.

  2. Beacon is represented with a foursome led by Coach “Big Ron” Tompkins. Don’t let Section I steal our thunder. We still have openings to show Section IX’s true spirit!

  3. Warwick is now in the house with a foursome led by John Connolly – supporting Shane, a 5x Section 9 champ who is now a cadet at West Point.
