Section 9 Duals History

The inaugural year for the Section 9 Duals was 1991-1992. The tournament has evolved over the years, sometimes due to budget constraints. Under the current format, the Division 1 and Division 2 champions receive an automatic birth to the NYSPHSAA Dual Meet Championships! The Division 2 tournament broke off as a separate tournament in 2008-2009. Let’s take a year-by-year look at the results for the Section 9 Duals.
