Section 9 has three former wrestlers who haver earned the privilege of competing in the 2021 NCAA Wrestling Championships. Eldred graduate Noah Curreri recently competed in the Division 2 Championships and became the first wrestler in school history to earn All-American status. Curreri, a senior at Queens University of Charlotte, took 8th in the nation at 174 pounds. The Division I tournament takes place on March 18-20 in St. Louis and Monroe Woodbury grads Vinny Vespa and Evan Barczak will be on the mat! Vespa, a senior at Hofstra wrestles at 141 pounds while Barczak, a junior at Drexel, is entered at 165 pounds. Army West Point wrestling also has 7 wrestlers who have qualified for the NCAAs!
