Eric D’Agnese Memorial Somers Tournament
Middletown Results:
Middletown’s tourney squad headed to the Somers for their Eric D’Agnese Memorial tourney and finished 3rd! The Middies were led by tournament champion and MOW Rahmiere Bradley who took Gold at 285! Joining him atop the podium was DJ Aviles who won the title at 132!

Russ Cordell Tournament
Saugerties came in 6th place as a team and crowned one champion as Christian Hockx won the title at 160 pounds! Also placing in the top 6 for the Sawyers were Anthony Denier (4th), Vance Dyke (6th), Isaiah Hockx (5th), James Burns (3rd) and Zane Grant (6th).

Red Hook took 6th and Chester 8th in the team race! Section 9 had one champion in Michael Franco from Chester who earned gold at 145 pounds!

Stan Elinsky Wrestling Tournament
Section 9 crowned 4 individual champions and had Pine Bush finish 3rd in the team race at the Stan Elinsky Tournament! Port Jervis had two champs in Chalie Wylie (102) and Matt Oosterom (215). Pine Bush also had two champs in James Duffy (118) and Braydon Pennell (189).

Saratoga Invitational
Valley Central’s Luke Satriano wins the 110-pound title with a dominating performance over a returning state place winner. Satriano defeated an extremely tough Ralph Keeney from Ballston Spa 11-1 in the finals. Keeley placed 5th in NYS D1 last year! 102-pounder EJ Vass placed 3rd for VC and Richie Degon placed 5th at 126!
