Good things happen to good people! It has come to my attention that Cornwall head wrestling coach Don Blaine has been selected as a 2014 inductee to the National Wrestling Hall of Fame. Coach Blaine will receive a Lifetime Service Award from the New York Chapter of the Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will take place later in the year and details will be posted when they are finalized. Below is a list of some of the many accomplishments in Coach Blaine’s storied career. Congrats to Coach Blaine I was one of his wrestlers during my H.S years and its part of the best years of my life
Did Coach Blaine ever win sections himself I got 20 that he did. Someone please let me know.
Sadly not, though he did win an OCIAA tournament championship in ’74!
