Weekend Results

Colonie Tournament
Minisink went 9-1 and finished in second place at the two-day, ten-match Colonie Dual Meet Tournament.  The Warriors only defeat came at the hands of perennial Section 11 power Rocky Point.  Minisink’s Michael Raccioppi finished the weekend a perfect 10-0 with 8 pins and 2 forfeits!

Huntington Tournament
The Port Jervis wrestling team took 5th Place at the Huntington Tournament in Long Island, NY. The Raiders had four champions Dylan Booth 113lbs, Travis Edwards 160lbs, Dan Decarlo 170lbs, and Randy Wilson 182lbs. Also earning 4th place medals were Hunter Curreri at 138lbs and Henry Schall 195lbs. Randy Wilson won the award for most pins in least amount of time with 4pins in 8 minutes 14 seconds.

Goshen Duals
Goshen went 3-1 with their only loss coming to tournament champion Nanuet of Section 1.  Eldred/Fallsburg, Ellenville, and Chester also competed.  Click above for the individual box scores.

Horace Greeley Tournament
Cornwall won the tournament in convincing fashion with a 60-24 victory over host Horace Greeley.  Gavin Mannion, Steve Fox, Peter Cucci, Ryan Vizesthann, Tim Urgel, and Victor Ramos went undefeated for the Dragons!

Mahopac Duals
Valley Central went 4-1 and finished in 3rd place with their only loss coming to Section 4’s Johnson City by a score of 36-33.  VC beat Mahopac 55-23, Brewster 49-20, Fox Lane 46-33, and Kellenberg 58-27.  Gabe Campbell, Jimmy Clark, and Matt Porter went a perfect 5-0 for the Vikings!
