Army Coaches Mitcheff and Francois Place At US Open

Congratulations to Army assistant coaches Dan Mitcheff and Enock Francois for their impressive performances this past weekend at the US Open in Las Vegas.  Mitcheff  and Francois have both qualified for the World Team Trials being held in Stillwater, OK on June 21-23.

Coach Mitcheff, wrestling at 60 kg, placed 6th.  In his quarterfinal match, Mitcheff gave 2012 Olympic Bronze Medalist Coleman Scott all he could handle but was defeated in three periods 0-2, 1-1, 1-1.  Wrestling at 84 kg, Coach Francois was equally  impressive finishing in 7th place and defeating two national champions, Max Askren and Cam Simaz, along the way !

Congratulations and good luck to both wrestlers at the trials.  Section 9 is very fortunate to have such talented coaches right in our back yard!  If you want to take advantage of what they have to offer, you may want to seriously consider checking out the:
