Mia Mac Takes Home State Title; Pauls Takes 2nd – Minisink Valley Wins Team Race

2018 Girlf Folkstyle State Champ – Mia Macaluso from Minisink Valley

Congratulation to all of the girls who competed in the 2018 Girl’s Folkstyle State Invitational but special CONGRATULATIONS goes out to Section 9’s very own Mia Macaluso for taking home the title at the 128 pound weight class.  Mia, a sophomore at Minisink Valley, pinned all of her opponents on her way to the podium!  Mia’s teammate Grace Pauls, also a sophomore at Minisink, recorded 3 pins and finished in 2nd place at 117 pounds. Minisink Valley won the team race finishing with 54 points!
