Washingtonville senior Andrew Marchese went 5-0 and was the 132-pound champion at The Mat Wars! Marchese, who recently committed to continue his academic and athletic career at Castleton University was awarded Tournament MOW for his efforts today! Washingtonville had three other top-4 placers in Nathaniel Popko (4th @ 126), Dominic Gennaro (2nd @ 145), and Justin Callahan (2nd @ 215).
Stan Elinsky Tournament @ Deposit Hancock (Section 4)
Congratulations to Pine Bush for taking 3rd place in the team race at the 15-team Stan Elinsky Tournament! Other Section 9 teams at the tournament were Port Jervis (10th place), Ellenville (11th place), and Fallsburg/Tri-Valley (14th place).
