NYSPHSAA Dual Meet Championships @ SRC Arena in Syracuse
Minisink Valley is the top seed in the Division 1 tournament while a scrappy Port Jervis team is looking to open some eyes in the Division 2 tournament.

Mahopac Memorial Wrestling Tournament
Monroe Woodbury, Middletown, Pine Bush, and Rondout Valley are four of the twenty-two teams in the field at the Mahopac Memorial Tournament.
Wizard Duals
Middletown went 5-0 and won the team title at the Wizard Duals. Saugerties went 4-1 and came in 2nd in the team race. The other teams in the tournament were Washingtonville, Highland, Kingston, and Beacon. The host team Washingtonville went 2-3 in duals however their tournament was highlighted by Andrew Marchese’s 147th career win. With that victory, Marchese, who went 5-0 at 132 for the day, became Washingtonville’s all-time career wins leader. The Washingtonville senior, who will wrestle in college at Castleton, now has a career record on 147 – 16. Marchese finished 5th in NYS as a sophomore and is one of the favorites to stand on top of the podium in Albany this February! Congratulations Andrew! Washingtonville had two other wrestlers go 5-0 on the day – Dominic Gennaro at 145 and Justin Callahan at 215-285.

Michael O’Connell Tournament @ Pearl River
Chester, New Paltz, and Burke attended the Michael O’Connell Tournament which was originally scheduled for December. Chester had one champion and four other top-3 placers! Nick DiCurcio took home the title @ 189 while Trent Edwards finished 2nd @ 102, Dylan Santangelo was 3rd @ 102, Michael Franco was 3rd @ 138, and Teddy Szymanski was 3rd @ 215.
