  1. Wow that’s a mind boggling thing to fathom right now to see Middletown taking down powerhouse Minisink Valley does that mean Section 9 is becoming more weak and if Minisink didn’t lose there top wrestler to leaving for a better future they’d be more elite then they are. I love wrestling and cheer for section 9 best of luck to everyone

    1. You take away the fact that one programs kids and their staff hasn’t been working their tails off to get to the top the whole section as been getting better across the board every team so to take away from what Middletown did is crazy to say oh the section is becoming weak shows you don’t really follow closely multiple teams state ranked other knocking on the door multiple returning state champs multiple returning state place finishers but section 9 is getting weak cause Middletown beat minisink that a slap in the face to every coach and program in section

  2. Congratulations to the Middie wrestlers and Coaches!
The development of the Middletown Wrestling Program is the culmination of a focused, committed dedication to the sport by Head Coach Jason Lichtenstein/Assistant Coaches. Coach J takes a very personalized, Big Brother approach to mentoring the young men in his program. As such, he is more than just a Coach!
