FILA Jr. Freestyle
Army wrestler Brian Harvey made it to the finals at 79KG where he dropped a 13-2 TF decision to PA native and current NC State wrestler Peter Renda.  Army wrestlers Logan Everett (1-2 @ 63KG) and Mark Marchetti (0-2 @ 66KG) also competed in the event.  In a very anticipated match at 66KG, high school phenom Aaron Pico defeated Penn State All-American freshman Zain Retherford by a score of 7-0.

War at the Shore
Minisink Valley wrestlers Gerard Daly and Michael Raccioppi along with Saugerties 220 pounder Rob Cuomo competed folkstyle this weekend at the War at the Shore in Wildwood, NJ.  Raccioppi, competing at 142.5 pounds, finished 3rd with his only loss coming to Michael Labriola who finished 7th in PA AA division.  Daly, who competed at 113 during the HS season, wrestled at 132.5 pounds and went 3-2.  Cuomo went 3-2 with both of his losses coming by a single point to the wrestlers who placed 3rd and 6th in the weight.  Great job all three guys!
